Welcome to Strathclyde Loch Sailing Club

Strathclyde Loch Sailing Club (SLSC) is a long-established Dinghy Racing and Sailing Club founded in 1978. SLSC is affiliated with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and is also an RYA Recognised Training Centre.

The Club is based at Strathclyde Loch, part of Strathclyde Country Park, just off the M74 at junction 6. Convenient if travelling from Glasgow. The Park borders Motherwell and Hamilton areas and offers easy access from local roads as well.

At SLSC we try to sail all the year round. During our summer season (April to end of September) we sail on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings. In our winter season (October to end of March) we sail on Sunday and Friday mornings.

Covid-19 restrictions mean that changing rooms and showers are not open in the adjacent Water Sports Centre. Public Porta Loo toilets are available nearby.
